Terms of Service

Article 1 (Agreement to Terms)
By accessing or using Humateck (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), you are deemed to agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, your use of the Service may be restricted.


Article 2 (Service Content and Membership Plans)
1. Basic Service
Humateck basically provides the following services.
1) AI-guided translation preparation and ultra-fast YouTube multilingual registration assistance
2) Automatic translation support through integration with an external translation API provider (currently unavailable due to the translation API provider’s security policy) and ultra-fast YouTube multilingual registration assistance

2. Members
1) Definition: A member is a person who has been assigned an ID through the sign-up procedure set by Humateck and uses the services provided by Humateck for a fee (credit card payment).
2) Types of members: This service basically operates as a single paid active plan user system (hereinafter “active plan users”). Active Plan Users have the authority to generate translations, check final translation results, and officially deliver the translation results to YouTube without a limit on the number of times (hereinafter “YouTube multilingual registration”). All visitors other than active plan users (hereinafter “non-plan users”) are permitted to use the homepage only up to translation generation and final translation result confirmation for service experience or other purposes. YouTube multilingual registration, which is a paid service, is permitted without limitation during the remaining subscription period immediately after subscribing to a paid plan (card payment).

3. Changes to Terms
If Humateck changes these Terms and you continue using the service without expressing refusal, you are deemed to have agreed to the changes.

4. Subscription Plans
1) Active Plan Users: Humateck provides monthly and annual active plan user plans. When applying for a subscription, you are deemed to agree to recurring billing of the payment method. Therefore, if you wish to cancel the subscription, you must give cancellation notice before the contract end date. All fees are non-refundable except as stated in the refund policy.
2) Non-plan users: Translation experience and result confirmation may be provided to unspecified customers (non-plan users) who wish to experience the service, but non-plan users are also deemed to agree to bear the same user responsibilities as paid members while accessing the site.


Article 3 (Responsibility)
1. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for all generation related to translation requests and registration content. Upon entering into the active plan user membership agreement, the user guarantees that they have delegated to Humateck the authority to register the translation results generated by the user through our system on the customer’s YouTube Studio channel.
Acts such as identity theft, copyright infringement, installation of illegal programs, or hacking attempts are prohibited. If these are violated, the company may take sanctions such as suspension of use.

2. Humateck Responsibility
Humateck provides hardware or software support so that customers can conveniently generate translations, and is responsible for promptly and faithfully registering the translation results generated by customers on the customer’s YouTube channel. However, Humateck has neither the authority nor the responsibility to review, modify, block, request retranslation of, or discard translation content submitted by the user.


Article 4 (Google OAuth and YouTube Integration)
In accordance with Google’s policy, this service is integrated with Google OAuth only through our Chrome extension. Therefore, by entering into a contract with Humateck and completing Google OAuth, the user grants Humateck authority to assist with YouTube multilingual registration. This authority can be revoked at any time in Google account settings.
Humateck does not store any active plan user Google OAuth authorization information (Client ID) on its server during or after the active plan user’s subscription period, and supports only the Chrome extension popup environment so that customers can directly use the encrypted Google OAuth authorization key whenever necessary according to Google policy.


Article 5 (Service Availability)
Humateck strives to provide stable service, but does not guarantee 100% unlimited responsibility. Humateck is not responsible for damages caused by system maintenance or temporary service interruption due to Google OAuth authorization restrictions in Google’s official environment (Chrome), usage restrictions caused by exceeding the YouTube API quota, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.


Article 6 (Limitation of Liability)
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Humateck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.


Article 7 (Changes to Terms)
Humateck may change these Terms when necessary. If you continue to use the service after the changes, you are deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.

Inquiries related to the Terms: Customer Support
